Century Anger Management is proud to offer a Home Study Program in
Anger Management for adults. Many courts, businesses, probation
departments, law offices, diversion programs, families, couples and
individuals are taking our home study program in place of traditional
office anger management classes.
Private
Our Home Study program allows clients to receive 8 hours of anger
management credit in the privacy of your own home. It is self-paced and
can be completed as slowly or quickly as you would like. Please check with your local or state agencies for acceptance guidelines for participating in home study anger management.
By taking the Home Study Program you will learn and be able to apply
the Eight Tools Of Anger Control which have helped hundreds of our
clients. These tools will teach you how to create a plan to "stress
guard" your life, recognize "filters" that influence what you hear,
discover new ways to respond to your anger triggers, eliminate
automatic negative thinking patterns, develop optimistic thinking
skills, learn to communicate effectively without offending others,
identify the warning signs of anger before things get out of hand, and
much more.
Convenient
Many clients are unable to attend weekly classes due to busy
schedules or inability to find classes near their home. With our home
study program, we will priority mail our client workbook "Anger
Management for the Twenty-First Century" written by Anthony Fiore,
Ph.D. and Ari Novick, MA, psychotherapists and certified anger
management trainers with over 40 years combined experience. We will
also mail you our home study exam.
Upon completion of the exam, all that is needed to receive credit is
to fax or mail back the completed test with at least 70% answered
correctly. Once we receive your completed exam we will grade it. If it
is passing, we will mail you out a certificate of verification for 8
hours of Anger Management.

ABOUT CENTURY ANGER MANAGEMENT
Tony Fiore, PhD. is a California licensed
psychologist, marriage therapist, and personal coach with clinical
practices in Long Beach and Orange, California. He is a certified
facilitator and trainer of both adult and adolescent anger management
programs, a past Diplomat of the American Association of Anger
Management Providers, and a Fellow in The American Institute of Stress
as well as the National Anger Management Association.
Fiore often speaks to groups and organizations on stress and anger
management. He is also a consultant to the workplace, conducting
in-house stress management training to managers of small, medium and
family-owned businesses. He recently served as a script consultant to a
popular TV show regarding anger management and publishes a popular
monthly newsletter “Taming the Anger Bee.”
After graduating from Purdue University in 1972, he has been active
in both community mental health, the private practice of psychology,
and teaching, coaching, and writing for over 30 years. He has also
received advanced training in Marital Therapy at the Gottman Institute
in Seattle, Washington. He and Ari Novick, Ph.D. own a training and
publishing company, "Century Anger Management" which produces numerous
products for both consumer anger management and professional anger
management certification training.
Ari Novick, Ph.D. is a licensed Marriage and Family
therapist and certified facilitator and trainer in Anger Management and
has a private practice in Laguna Beach, California. He is a diplomat of
the American Association of Anger Management Providers and a clinical
member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
He is also a continuing education provider for the California Board of
Behavioral Sciences and an approved Anger Management provider for the
Orange County Department of Probation.
Novick has made numerous presentations on the subjects of anger
management, stress management, and empathy. He has been a consultant
for both Discovery Channel and Fox Television. Novick is also a
corporate consultant and conducts workshops and seminars for
corporations in both the public and private sectors.
Novick received his bachelors’ degree from the University of
California at Santa Barbara, his Masters Degree from Pepperdine
University and his doctorate from the California Graduate Institute.
